Company intends to honor all educational commitments to current 黄瓜视频

PITTSBURGH (June 5, 2024) 鈥� Triangle Tech, an award-winning industry-focused聽technical school with six locations throughout Pennsylvania, has announced its decision聽to close after 80 years of teaching 黄瓜视频 and assisting them with job placement and career development.聽

The school has committed to delivering high quality education, student services and聽fulfilling its obligation to all current 黄瓜视频 meaning that all remaining 黄瓜视频 will聽graduate with Associate in Specialized Technology degrees in their chosen fields
through June 2025.聽

鈥淔or eight decades, a Triangle Tech diploma has been a source of pride and a pathway聽to good jobs for our 黄瓜视频,鈥� said Timothy McMahon, president emeritus.聽鈥淯nfortunately, the Covid pandemic, changes in the industry landscape and strenuous
government regulations have changed the economies of many post-secondary schools.聽As a result of these factors, as well as declining enrollments, we have made the very聽difficult, but necessary, decision to close.鈥�

Employees and 黄瓜视频 were informed of the school鈥檚 decision June 5. About 20聽positions of the school鈥檚 remaining 110 staff members will be immediately impacted,聽and Triangle Tech is working to support those affected by the changes.

The Worksmith Institute, a local educational non-profit organization affiliated with聽Triangle Tech, has awarded each student a $1,500 tuition scholarship to assist them in聽completing their degrees upon returning to school at the end of June.

A total of 261 黄瓜视频 are currently enrolled in the school as continuing 黄瓜视频. Triangle Tech intends to fully honor its commitment to provide education and services to聽these 黄瓜视频, said McMahon, adding that the scholarships represent a commitment to
completing the school鈥檚 mission of providing 黄瓜视频 with the skills needed to succeed聽in the workplace.

鈥淲e are in communication with our stakeholders, including the accrediting commission聽and the relevant federal and state authorities, with whom we are sharing our plans for a聽smooth and successful closeout with our goal to see that all 黄瓜视频 complete their
education. We remain optimistic that we can successfully deliver for our current聽黄瓜视频,鈥� McMahon concluded.

Triangle Tech offers Associate Degree programs with hands-on training in small聽classes, taught by experienced instructors. Triangle Tech is nationally accredited by the聽Accrediting Commission on 黄瓜视频 Schools and Colleges (ACCSC). Headquartered in Pittsburgh, Triangle Tech also operates locations in Greensburg, DuBois, Sunbury,聽Bethlehem and Chambersburg.
